National Security Hotline: 1800 123 400, or Email:hotline@nationalsecurity.gov.au If you see people handling or purchasing chemicals in a way that doesn't seem right, call the National Security Hotline: 1800 123 400, or Email: hotline@nationalsecurity.gov.au

Chemicals you handle every day can be a security risk.

Many household, industrial, agricultural and veterinary chemicals that are legitimately used throughout Australia every single day can be misused by terrorists to create explosives and chemical weapons. This has happened overseas and it could happen in Australia.

Obviously, we can't remove products like hair dyes, pool chemicals, cleaning products and insecticides from the market. That's why we need you to be aware of the risk and report any behaviour that seems suspicious.
